Around since 1929, Eisenberg Sandwich Shop is a well-known
NYC diner. Walk in and you’ll find a row
of stools along the counter as if you had entered a long ago era. And the tuna melt on rye is probably made the
same way it had been when the restaurant opened. Grilled with butter and two slices of
American, the tuna isn’t overly saturated with mayo. The cheese could’ve been melted slightly
more, but other than that, a solid sandwich in the Flatiron area.
